Award winning family show Out Of The Box comes to Leeds this April
Award winning visual comedian Darryl J Carrington is bringing his family friendly solo show Out Of The Box to Leeds this April as part of a UK tour running from February to April.
The show was named Best Family Friendly Show at the 2025 Brighton Fringe and has been delighting audiences with its mix of circus skills, physical comedy and playful audience interaction.
Yorkshire audiences can catch the show at the historic City Varieties Music Hall in Leeds on 7 April, followed by a performance at Guiseley Theatre in Guiseley on 8 April.
Out Of The Box is a visual comedy spectacle packed with world class tricks, physical comedy and laugh out loud moments. Each time Carrington opens his mysterious box a new surprise appears, from impressive circus skills to inventive routines that turn everyday objects into something extraordinary.
Although suitable for ages six and over, the show is designed to entertain everyone. Carrington’s gentle non verbal style means audiences of all ages can enjoy the performance, and adults often find themselves laughing just as much as the children.
With plenty of surprises and an unforgettable toothbrush themed finale, Out Of The Box promises an energetic and joyful theatre experience that celebrates silliness, skill and the simple joy of play.
