A group of independent retailers have joined forces this festive season to launch a community-led late-night shopping event in Chapel Allerton, one of Leeds’ most vibrant and creative suburban hubs.

Taking place on Thursday December 4, the event will showcase the neighbourhood’s diverse mix of independent shops, makers and venues, encouraging residents and visitors alike to shop local this Christmas.

Alongside extended opening hours, attendees can expect exclusive seasonal offers, festive window displays, pop-up stalls from local craftspeople, live music, family-friendly activities and giveaways. Participating venues across the suburb will open their doors for an evening designed to celebrate local talent and strengthen community connections.

Jo McBeath, owner of Chirpy, said: “Chapel Allerton has a unique set-up and a brilliant independent spirit.
