Stockeld Park announces return of much-loved Easter Experience

Following a strong start to the year, Yorkshire’s award-winning family attraction Stockeld Park is preparing to welcome visitors for its popular Easter season, running from 28th March to 12th April.
The park, near Wetherby, will offer a full programme of interactive activities designed for families looking to enjoy the outdoors this spring.
This year’s event introduces the Hop Squad - four live-action bunny characters who will guide families through the Enchanted Forest as part of an immersive Easter trail.
Children can meet each bunny, take part in themed activities and collect stamps on their trail sheet before receiving a small reward at the end. The Hop Squad will be out in the Enchanted Forest throughout the day, welcoming families between 10:30 am and 4 pm.
Visitors can also stop by the Stockeld Theatre to meet the Easter Bunny throughout the day, with scheduled hourly appearances from 11 am to 4 pm. The ‘meet and greet’ experience offers families an opportunity for photos and a moment of Easter magic between the excitement of exploring the rest of the park’s offerings.
Throughout the Enchanted Forest, families will be able to take part in a giant egg hunt, featuring a series of hand-painted eggs and including one designed by the winner of Stockeld’s 2025 Easter competition. The nearby Magical Maze will also offer an “Easter Around the World” trail, with interactive elements and surprising features hidden along the way.
After the Easter activities conclude, Stockeld Park will remain open from 12th-19th April, offering its usual spring and early summer outdoor favourites. This includes Buccaneer Boats, pedal go-karts and giant inflatables, ideal for families seeking fresh-air fun during the school holidays.
Stockeld Park’s year-round attractions also remain open, including the award-winning Playhive, Europe’s largest indoor play area, and the perfect play destination whatever the weather. With endless opportunities for fun, sensory play and exploration, the Playhive remains a firm favourite for families and is an ideal escape for children of all ages.
Peter Grant, owner and Chief Fun Officer at Stockeld Park, said:“Easter is always a special moment in our calendar, and this year’s event brings even more opportunities for families to explore, play and enjoy time together. The Hop Squad trail is a fantastic new addition, and we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors from across Yorkshire and beyond.”
