Stockeld Park launches Elf Academy competition to give lucky winners free Christmas tickets for the whole family

Wetherby-based Stockeld Park has launched a call for Elf helpers.
Festive chaos has erupted at Stockeld Park in the form of an elf shortage. With simply not enough little helpers to go round, Santa’s workshop is in overdrive, putting Stockeld Park’s annual Christmas extravaganza at risk. Now, Stockeld Park has issued an urgent festive call to children across the region to apply now and help save Christmas.
Launching 5th November, Stockeld Park is opening applications for its first ever Elf Academy, giving eight lucky children the chance to join Santa’s team, go behind the scenes, and officially train as one of his little helpers – along with a parent or guardian joining the fun.
The Elf Academy will take place after school on Friday 21st November, from 4–6pm, giving winning elves time to polish their jingles, practice their giggles and earn their elf stripes.
During training, the elves will take part in the magical duties that make Christmas at Stockeld possible, including:
- An Elf-folk initiation
- Making magical munch for the reindeer
- Awakening the Enchanted Forest illuminations
- A North Pole elf and safety check
- And, of course, spreading maximum Christmas cheer!
Each winner will receive:
- Gold Tickets for the child and their family* to visit Stockeld Park on 22nd November
- Including show access to watch ‘How Jack Frost stole Christmas’, as well as the VIP Santa's grotto experience
- Unlimited return visits to the illuminations & skate for the festive period
- A place at an Official Elf Academy graduation, with an elf outfit, certificate & photo with Santa
- The chance to take part in Santa’s Parade during graduation, welcoming the big man himself!
Peter Grant, Owner and Chief Fun Officer at Stockeld Park, said:“We’ve got an elf-ergency on our hands! With so much festive fun to prepare, Santa needs extra helpers this year – so we’re calling in the kids to save Christmas. Christmas at Stockeld Park is all about joy, imagination, and play, and we can’t wait to see which little elves step up to the sleigh!”
To enter, simply get your child to tell Stockeld Park: How they would spread Christmas cheer.
Entries can be written, drawn or filmed. Creativity counts – the more magical, the better.
Applications open 5-15 and can be submitted via the website ( https://stockeldpark.co.uk/competitions), email ( [email protected]) or social media (direct message or tagging us in a post). Please note any video entries must be submitted via email or on social media.
