The Journey Home – Lloyds and Six by Nico bring a unique dining experience to Leeds

Lloyds has teamed up with award-winning restaurant group Six by Nico to unveil a UK-wide run of immersive dining experiences.

A spokesperson said: "With 66 per cent of Gen Zs in Yorkshire and Humberside regularly discussing aspirations of getting onto the property ladder over dinner, the event comes in the bid to help the 43 per cent of the age group who have a basic or poor understanding of the homebuying process.

"In Yorkshire and Humberside, 89 per cent of 25–34 year olds have owning their own home as a personal life goal, however, many have shared concerns about buying their first home.

"These are the main concerns for first time buyers in Yorkshire and Humberside include saving for a deposit, affording monthly repayments and being able to borrow enough."

Stopping off in Leeds, at Six by Nico, on March 23, guests will embark on a six-course culinary journey.

Each dish on the bespoke menu is inspired by a moment many first‑time buyers will recognise, from the initial dream of their ideal home, to saving for a deposit, through to mortgage approval, viewing, purchasing and finally moving in.

Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy playful moments woven between each course and little surprises that transform the first-time buyer journey into a memorable – and Instagrammable – experience.

As the evening unfolds, guests will have the opportunity to learn about the practical steps involved when purchasing a first home and how Lloyds can support throughout.
