Welsh male voice choir celebrates 50 years of singing
Tenby Male Choir from Pembrokeshire is celebrating their 50th anniversary with a tour showcasing their talent in Sheffield, York, and the Peak District.
Over the years, the choir has raised thousands of pounds for numerous charities. They have also played a vital role in encouraging the development of young musicians, many of whom have gone on to become successful professional artists in their own right.
The choir is delighted to have been invited by the Dore Male Voice Choir to be guests at their Annual Gala Concert. This special event will take place at All Saints Church, Sheffield, a perfect venue for an evening of inspiring music.
During their tour, the choir will perform in several prestigious locations including:
- Sheffield Winter Gardens: one of the largest urban glasshouses in Europe known for its stunning architecture and excellent acoustics.
- St. Chad's Church in York: A Grade 2 listed church often used for hosting musical events close to the famous York Racecourse.
- Chatsworth Gardens in Derbyshire (Flora’s Temple): A unique stage in a picturesque setting at this wonderful location
