Bodycare has confirmed it is returning to the UK high street - and it’s reopening a shop in Leeds.

The beauty retailer, known for its affordable personal care essentials, entered administration last year after attempts to find a buyer fell through.

The last of its UK stores closed in September, ending a 50-year run on the high street and causing more than 1,000 staff to lose their jobs.

But Bodycare was rescued by former Body Shop CEO Molton Brown in October, and the chain has announced it will reopen 15 stores by the end of 2026.

And it’s now confirmed that a Leeds shop is set to reopen.

According to its website, the store in the St John’s Centre is ‘coming soon’ - and is expected to open by the end of the year.

Bodycare will also open new shops in Wakefield's Trinity Walk, Bradford’s The Broadway and The Moor in Sheffield.
