Businesses in West Yorkshire encouraged to connect at final AD:VENTURE of 2025

Taking place at Bradford Live on Tuesday 2 December from 10am – 3pm, the event, which is delivered in partnership with Bradford Council and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, is set to be a celebration of progress, collaboration and ambition from the SME community.

Those registering for free will hear inspiring stories from the Bradford City of Culture team, insight from Bradford BID on what’s next for the city, and be uplifted by the experiences of the SMEs that will be on hand to share their personal journeys.

Furthermore, a series of interactive panel sessions will take place throughout the day focusing on the challenges and opportunities shaping small business success in 2026 and all delegates will receive a complimentary networking lunch.

Phil Cole, Head of Business Support at Leeds City Council, responsible for AD:VENTURE, comments: “We can’t believe that this will be the last event of the year. We’ve delivered many sessions throughout 2025 and want this to be a real celebration of all that our SME community has achieved.

“We know that small and growing businesses are the foundations for our economy and future. We hope that in bringing those that are passionate, ambitious and talented together will inspire others to do the same.

“As ever, there is a lot to get through and with only 250 places we are encouraging those that are interested to book their spaces now to avoid disappointment.”

Launched in 2017, The AD:VENTURE programme provides business support, including workshops, networking, one to one guidance and grant funding for new businesses and existing enterprises under three years old throughout the West Yorkshire region.

AD:VENTURE is being delivered by Leeds City Council and is part funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). In West Yorkshire, the West Yorkshire Combined Authority leads the implementation of the Fund as part of the Mayor’s ambition to make West Yorkshire the best place to work, learn and live.
