Historic former Kirkstall, Leeds cinema built in 1913 for sale at £375,000
The historic site was originally known as the Abbey Picture House
A former Leeds cinema dating back to 1913 has been put up for sale.
Delacey House, located on Abbey Road, Kirkstall, has been listed for sale by Rightmove and is being marketed as having “possible development potential.”
The historic site, built in 1913, was originally known as the Abbey Picture House until it closed in 1960. It later became a bingo hall and was most recently used as a semi-detached office building with frontages to roads to its north, east and south.

The ad listing said: “Delacey House offers accommodation over two floors. At ground floor there is a reception and adjacent waiting room. Beyond these are a variety of open plan working areas and some private offices with male, female and disabled WC.
“At first floor level there is a large open-plan office and beyond it, three meeting rooms, a kitchen and further WCs.”
The property is located with prominent frontage to the A65 Abbey Road in Kirkstall, about three miles north west of Leeds city centre.
Delacey House fronts the pavement of Abbey Road and can be identified by its Rightmove “For Sale” sign. A car park and access is gained from Vesper Grove to the rear.
