A major UK bank is dangling a sizeable carrot for high earners willing to move their money, with up to £750 in cashback available for those who switch their account early in 2026.
HSBC UK has unveiled a new “bring more, get more” switching incentive aimed at attracting customers prepared to consolidate their finances under one roof.
The headline figure sounds eye-catching, but unlocking the full amount depends on how much of your money you’re willing to move, and how quickly.

How the £750 switching offer works
This isn’t a free £750 for everyone, and the eligibility thresholds put the offer firmly out of reach for most households.
Under the offer, new Premier customers can earn £250 by switching their main current account and paying in an annual salary of at least £100,000.
The bank’s Premier accounts are pitched at customers with more complex or international finances, and come with a range of bundled extras.
These include travel insurance, health-related benefits, and preferential rates on foreign exchange and international payments, perks that may appeal to frequent travellers or those managing money across borders.
To qualify, the switch must be completed using the Current Account Switch Service (CASS), with salary payments coming directly from an employer into an HSBC Premier account.
There’s another £500 on the table for those who also transfer £100,000 or more in savings or investments to HSBC. Customers who do both can pocket the full £750, but timing matters.
Anyone considering switching should weigh up whether the perks, and ongoing account terms, justify the move once the cashback has landed.
Key dates and deadlines to watch
You’ll need to open and move to a Premier account between Monday, January 5 and Monday, February 23, 2026 to be eligible.
HSBC says the £100,000 savings or investment balance must be paid in and then maintained for at least three months.
All qualifying steps must be completed by Thursday, April 30 2026, with the cashback paid directly into the Premier account within 70 days of meeting the criteria.
Carl Watchorn, head of Premier proposition at HSBC UK, said: “This offer is our way of rewarding new customers who choose to bring their finances together with us.”
