Shoppers can now grab dresses, shoes and accessories at huge discounts 🛍️

  • Luxury fashion brand LK Bennett has increased its closing-down sale to at least 60% off all items
  • The discounts apply across clothing, shoes and accessories in-store and online
  • Its sale has deepened from earlier 40–50% reductions launched in February
  • The move comes after brand was bought out of administration earlier this year
  • All of its UK stores are set to close soon, creating a limited window for shoppers

Shoppers in Yorkshire are being offered one of the biggest luxury fashion discounts seen on the high street this year, as one brand ramps up its closing-down sale to at least 60% off all items.

British womenswear brand LK Bennett, long associated with premium occasion wear and polished workwear, has significantly increased reductions in a bid to clear stock ahead of a major shift in how the business operates.

For customers at its Harrogate store, it means steep discounts across everything from dresses and tailoring to shoes and accessories, both in-store and online.

Originally launched in February with cuts of 40% to 50%, the sale has now been deepened across the board. In a social media update last week (March 19), the retailer told shoppers: “It’s just got even better. Everything is now at least 60% off in our closing down sale, our biggest offer yet.”

For shoppers, the sale offers a final opportunity to browse the brand’s collections in person before stores disappear from the high street.

The aggressive discounting comes after Gordon Brothers acquired LK Bennett out of administration in January. While the deal secured the future of the brand itself, including its intellectual property, it did not extend to its physical retail estate.

As a result, the company is now transitioning to what has been described as an “asset-light” model, focusing on online sales and partnerships rather than standalone shops. All nine of its UK stores, along with 13 concessions, are expected to close by spring.

That leaves a narrow window for shoppers hoping to pick up discounted luxury pieces in-store, with stock unlikely to be replenished and sizes expected to sell through quickly.

For those in Harrogate, it may be the last chance to shop the brand locally at a fraction of its usual price.
