From six-figure payouts to life-changing jackpots, the latest NS&I draw has delivered big wins across the UK 🎉

  • Two savers have each won £1 million in the January 2026 Premium Bonds prize draw
  • The jackpot winners are from Berkshire and Suffolk, both holding the maximum £50,000
  • Premium Bonds replace interest with monthly prize draws offering tax-free rewards
  • Savers can invest between £25 and £50,000, with all money fully backed by the UK Government
  • More than 18,000 ‘high-value’ prizes were awarded in the latest draw

Two savers are celebrating after each scooping £1 million in the January 2026 Premium Bonds prize draw.

Run by National Savings & Investments (NS&I), Premium Bonds offer a distinctive alternative to traditional savings accounts.

Rather than earning interest, every £1 bond is entered into a monthly prize draw, with tax-free prizes ranging from £25 up to the £1 million jackpot.

While winnings are never guaranteed, your money is completely secure. Savers can invest from as little as £25, up to a maximum of £50,000, either online through the NS&I website, or by post using an application form and cheque.

Prize winners are selected at random by the Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment (ERNIE), which has been drawing numbers since 1957.

Backed in full by the UK Government, Premium Bonds combine the reassurance of guaranteed security with the excitement of a potentially life-changing win.

Who are the big winners this month?

This month’s first £1 million winner is from Berkshire and holds £50,000 in Premium Bonds. Their winning bond, 377PG290829, was purchased a little over six years ago in December 2019.

The second jackpot winner, from Suffolk, also holds £50,000. Their winning bond, 570QM451332, was bought more recently in February 2024.

While the million-pound prizes grab the headlines, 77 people won £100,000 each in the January 2026 draw, with NS&I awarding over 18,000 “high value” prizes in total.

The full list of winners can be found on NS&I’s website. To see if your Premium Bonds have won a prize, use their official prize checker.
