Former Leeds United star Stuart Dallas opens new eight court indoor padel centre in Cross Green
A new eight court premium padel club is set to launch in Leeds this month.
The new premium indoor padel venue, Optimum Padel, is set to open March 27, bringing one of Yorkshire’s most advanced padel facilities to Cross Green in east Leeds.
Designed as a best-in-class sporting and social destination, Optimum Padel will feature eight premium indoor courts, all finished with the highest-grade signature blue turf and housed beneath an impressive 10.5-metre-high roof - creating one of the most spacious indoor padel environments in the region. The fully indoor venue ensures year-round play, whatever the weather.

The club will also boast large luxury changing rooms, complete with high-quality finishes, spacious lockers and modern shower facilities, reinforcing the premium experience from arrival to departure.
Investor and former Leeds United footballer, Stuart Dallas said: “Padel has become a sport I’ve really enjoyed and I’d noticed how many people across the region have taken it up in recent years.
“Leeds has become my home to me and my family, so the opportunity to bring something new to the community was also a big factor, especially given how much I enjoy playing the game myself.”
Beyond the courts, members and visitors will be able to relax in a heated indoor social hub, offering speciality coffee, matcha, beers and snacks. The space has been designed to encourage community, whether players are socialising after matches, working remotely or attending events.
Sky Sports will be shown in the social hub whether you want to watch Football, Golf or Formula 1 Optimum Padel has it covered.

Optimum Padel is led by a highly experienced director team combining elite sport, hospitality, finance and business leadership including Managing Director Adam Silverwood, and Great Britain padel player and Yorkshire captain Mike Tolman.
“Padel is as much about connection as competition and at Optimum Padel our priority is to create a genuinely community-focused club - a place where people can play, meet friends, work eat and drink under one roof,” Director Adam Silverwood said.
“With mental health challenges becoming ever more prevalent in daily life, it’s important to provide a welcoming environment where people feel comfortable talking, connecting and being part of a community. I’ve personally built some incredible friendships through padel.”
Coaching will be a core focus, with high-quality coaching programmes available for all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced players. A strong emphasis will be placed on junior development, with fun, engaging and child-friendly coaching courses aimed at introducing children to sport and building confidence through padel.
Together, the team aims to build more than just a sports venue. Optimum Padel will focus on creating a strong padel community, hosting leagues, tournaments, social events and family-friendly activities that bring people together on and off the court.
Optimum Padel is scheduled to open end of March. The club has now launched on booking service Playtomic and further details on memberships and coaching will be announced soon.
