Citrus Connect, a specialist direct sales recruitment consultancy based in Leeds, has announced a major charitable milestone in its ongoing partnership with the King’s Ransom Foundation.

Since starting its work with the King’s Ransom Foundation, Citrus Connect contributed £20,146.23 to the charity, helping to support life-changing humanitarian initiatives, including the building and support of orphanages in India, Kenya, and Belize.

The donations have also been used to provide critical feeding and rescue programmes across vulnerable communities worldwide.

Through its continued commitment to giving back, Citrus Connect has contributed to efforts that ensure children and families in some of the world’s most challenging environments receive consistent meals, safe shelter, education, and protection.

This contribution marks a major milestone in the company’s ambition to raise £100,000 for the charity.

The King’s Ransom Foundation is a public charity founded in 2009 and based in Kerrville, Texas, is dedicated to serving the poor, widows, orphans and those in urgent need - with 100% of donations going directly to frontline aid.

This milestone reflects not just financial contribution, but a shared mission: building brighter futures through practical support and long-term care.

Andrew Williams, Financial Administrator at the King’s Ransom Foundation, commented: “Citrus Connect's partnership with King's Ransom Foundation is a powerful example of what happens when business growth and lasting impact move together.

"This partnership has directly supported our feeding and rescue initiatives, bringing hope and a brighter future to vulnerable children.

"We are truly grateful for companies like Citrus Connect that represent excellence in business and genuine compassion for those who need it most.”

Leena Parmar, Founder of Citrus Connect, said: “At Citrus Connect, we believe success means more than business growth - it means making a meaningful difference.

"Partnering with the King’s Ransom Foundation has allowed us to extend our impact far beyond recruitment.

"Knowing that our work contributes to feeding children, building orphanages, and restoring hope to families facing unimaginable hardship is incredibly humbling.

"We are committed to continuing this journey and encouraging more businesses to use their success as a force for good.”

As a consultancy dedicated to helping direct sales businesses scale through strategic recruitment, Citrus Connect has embedded social responsibility into its growth model - demonstrating that commercial success and compassionate action can go hand in hand.

The impact of this partnership with The Kings Ransom Foundation can be seen in the lives of children around the world:

  • Luc, born in Goma in 2018, lost both parents at a young age and arrived at a partner orphanage underweight and vulnerable. Today, through consistent meals, schooling, and spiritual support, he is healthier, stronger and thriving in a stable environment.
  • In Nicaragua, children like Santiago, whose mother sells sweets on the street to survive, now receive daily meals and spiritual guidance. Britany and María attend weekly programmes where they enjoy nutritious food and learn in a safe, encouraging setting.
  • Joseph, who tragically lost his father and whose mother lost both her legs, arrived frail and malnourished. Thanks to regular meals and care, he has gained strength, health, and renewed confidence.

Citrus Connect is encouraging other businesses and individuals to join the mission. There are several ways to support, including making a direct donation to the King’s Ransom Foundation, sponsor feeding programmes or orphanage initiatives.

By aligning business growth with global compassion, more organisations can help provide food, shelter, and protection to children and families who need it most.
