Christmas is officially arriving early in West Yorkshire, as Leeds Garden Centre prepares to launch its 2026 festive department next month.

Part of British Garden Centres - the UK’s largest family-run garden centre group - the venue will kick off its festive season with a launch weekend on October 3 and 4.

Running under the campaign banner “Where Magic Begins,” the opening weekend will showcase the centre's expanded Fern Christmas and Lighting collection.

The range features artificial trees, indoor and outdoor lighting displays, home decorations, and seasonal accessories tailored for both classic and contemporary Christmas themes.

Alongside seasonal décor, the centre is expanding its gift department ahead of the winter rush, stocking toys, games, homeware, pet presents, and winter plant displays.

To mark the launch weekend, British Garden Centres Family Card members will receive an exclusive 15 per cent discount across the full Christmas range, including lights, trees, cards, and wrapping paper.

Bookings have also opened for the centre’s seasonal dining experiences, which will run in the restaurant throughout the lead-up to Christmas.

Victoria Partner, Centre Manager at Leeds Garden Centre, said: "Christmas at British Garden Centres is about so much more than decorations; it’s about bringing people together and making the season the best experience for everyone.

"Alongside our expanded Fern Christmas range and a fantastic selection of gifts for all ages, we’re proud to host festive events that families can enjoy year after year. Whether you’re shopping for the perfect present, finding inspiration for your home, or making memories, there’s something special for everyone."

Reservations for festive dining experiences and event details are now available on the official British Garden Centres website.
