Leeds Call Lane cocktail bar to close as huge new après-ski party venue announced
’We’re really excited to bring Barbara’s to Leeds and can’t wait to get the doors open this October’
A popular nightclub in the city centre is set to close as Leeds welcomes a brand-new après-ski-themed venue in its place.
Revolución de Cuba on Call Lane is set to close as the site undergoes a major transformation into Barbara’s Bier Haus, which is set to open in October.

As the seventh Barbara’s venue in the UK, the new venue promises a full alpine party every night, with bartenders in lederhosen, shot skis, themed DJs and interactive entertainment.
Guests can also expect beer and cocktail towers, shareable pizzas and bratwursts in an “on-the-slopes” atmosphere.
Barbara’s Bier Haus is operated by NEOS Hospitality, which acquired several Revolution and Revolución de Cuba locations earlier this year. It also owns Bonnie Rogues, Barbara’s and Circuit.
CEO Russell Quelch said: “Leeds has a fantastic nightlife scene, so it’s the perfect place for Barbara’s Bier Haus.
“The city is known for its energy and its love of a good night out, and Barbara’s brings something a little different with its après-ski theme, entertainment and big party atmosphere.
“We’re really excited to bring Barbara’s to Leeds and can’t wait to get the doors open this October.”
The Leeds opening forms part of a wider rollout of Barbara’s Bier Haus across the UK.
Guests can sign up for a “Ski Pass”, which offers members exclusive perks and experiences across the brand’s UK venues.
More information, including the official opening date and details about launch events, will be shared closer to October.
