After months of speculation, “when” and “where,” Mint Club and Mint Warehouse have revealed the location of the new space, Mint XL, taking over the iconic former PRYZM nightclub site on Woodhouse Lane.
Located within the Merrion Centre, the multi-room space is currently undergoing a full-scale renovation to transform it into a massive, versatile 2,500-capacity flagship venue called Mint XL. The flagship space will officially open its doors to the public with a major launch party on September 25.
Speaking on the landmark launch, the team at Mint highlighted their vision for bringing a project of this magnitude directly into the core of the city: “The vision for Mint XL has always been to create a fully versatile venue capable of operating at a much bigger level.
“At the same time, one of the most important things for us was making sure we didn’t lose the intimacy and atmosphere that made Mint Club and Mint Warehouse feel special over the years.”
The space has been reimagined from the ground up and will feature a newly installed, state-of-the-art Funktion-One Vero sound system and high-spec visual production built to host everything from electronic music programming to touring live acts and corporate activations.
