Josh Walker (Skylink Lifts General Manager) “We are delighted that our commitment to recycling and reusing stairlifts through our UK-wide recycling programme—which has successfully processed more than 4,000 units so far this year alone —has been recognised with the Green Award at the Yorkshire and Humberside Family Business Awards.

Sustainability remains central to our mission, and this honour underscores the meaningful impact of our ongoing efforts.

"I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to our team of 14 dedicated staff members, whose professionalism and hard work every day have made this achievement possible.”

The evening was hosted by renowned food writer and broadcaster Nigel Barden, alongside event co-founders Dave Clarkson and Sue Howorth, who expressed their pride in the event's success.

“We always aim to create an unforgettable experience, and hosting the awards in Leeds this year added something truly special.
