Major fashion footwear brand schuh to arrive in Trinity Leeds this Friday
A major fashion footwear retailer has announced it will open a new store in Leeds city centre this week.
Schuh will open on the lower ground floor of Trinity Leeds on Friday April 17 with giveaways, competitions and free coffee for visitors on opening day.
To celebrate the launch, Vinyl Grounds will be offering complimentary barista-made coffee and customers who sign up to schuh’s loyalty programme will be in with the chance of winning a free pair of Birkenstocks.
Customers who make a Birkenstock purchase at the new Schuh store will also get an exclusive anklet with a choice of a charm from hand crafted and vintage jewellery brand Nelle Studios.
Neil Partington, Chief Retail Officer at Schuh, said that the brand “look forward to welcoming customers” to the new store later this week.
He said: "Opening our new store at Trinity Leeds and being back in the city centre is an exciting moment for schuh.
“Our new schuh store will reaffirm our connection with the Leeds community and ensure we are at the heart of the city’s retail scene. We look forward to welcoming customers into the new space, offering them a more dynamic retail experience designed for discovery and self-expression.”
Shuch’s arrival at Trinity Leeds follows a wave of exciting new names at the shopping centre including Jerk Junction, Lane7, and Maya’s Café.
At schuh, customers can find their perfect fit shoes from a range of favourite brands including New Balance, UGG and Nike.
The new store will be the schuh across the UK to have an open-plan entrance with bespoke ramps, steps, and enhanced product displays, which are designed to be inclusive for all customers.
As well as this, customers at the store will be able to donate pre-loved footwear through schuh’s ‘Sell Your Soles’ scheme to receive £5 off a pair of brand new shoes.
