Each custom bouquet has been tailored to reflect the specific colour scheme and floral name of its designated room - including the Sunflower Room, Lavender Room, and Rose Room.

The floral displays are set to be refreshed regularly throughout the year, maintaining a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere for visitors and residents undergoing care.

The initiative builds on a longstanding relationship between the Halifax-based florist and the Elland hospice.

Over several years of joint fundraising and event support, Prestige Flowers has helped generate more than £35,000 for the end-of-life care facility.

Elise Harlock, of Prestige Flowers, said: "We’re incredibly proud to continue supporting Overgate Hospice and to be part of such a meaningful project.

“Flowers have a unique way of bringing comfort, warmth, and positivity to a space, and we wanted each arrangement to reflect the personality of its room while helping to create a welcoming environment for residents and their loved ones.

"Overgate Hospice does such important work within our community, and we’re delighted to play a small role in helping brighten the experience of those in its care."

Looking ahead, the partnership plans to expand its support beyond room décor.

Future initiatives under development include hands-on flower-arranging workshops for patients, alongside donated bouquets and balloons for milestone family celebrations hosted at the hospice throughout the year.
