'This installation is a significant milestone': Huge EV hub opens in Leeds
RAW Charging, the electric vehicle (EV) chargepoint operator for the leisure and retail sectors, has opened one of Yorkshire’s largest high-powered public EV charging hubs.
The Cardigan Fields installation in Leeds is part of RAW Charging’s partnership with Landsec, one of the UK’s largest real estate investment trusts, which is investing £24.5 million to roll out EV charging infrastructure across retail and leisure destinations nationwide.
A spokesman said this facility features 32 bays in total, comprising 14 AC fast chargers, 6 DC50 rapid chargers, and 12 DC150 ultra-rapid chargers.
RAW is backed by Bayford Group, the Yorkshire based investor in energy.

Neil Broadbank, Chief Commercial Officer at RAW Charging, said: “We are delighted to bring Yorkshire its largest high-powered public EV charging hub at Cardigan Fields. This installation is a significant milestone in our partnership with Landsec and our mission to connect places across the UK.
