'Unbelievably proud': MOJO founder steps away from cocktail bar business after 30 years
The founder of a company behind popular cocktail bar brand MOJO is stepping down from the business to relocate closer to family in Sweden.
Malcolm Evans said it was a tough decision to leave the business, which runs MOJO bars in locations including Harrogate, Leeds and Sheffield.
The business was founded back in 1996 in Leeds.
Mr Evans said: “This is one of the toughest calls I’ve ever had to make, but family comes first.

"MOJO has always been about good times, good people, and that spark you only get when the music’s loud and the room’s alive. I’m unbelievably proud of what we’ve created together - the team, the guests, the memories, the madness.
"While I’m stepping away, MOJO’s soul is bigger than any one person, and I know the crew will keep the party going.”
The business will continue under the ownership of Martin Greenhow, supported by the operations team of James Hudson and Peter Williams.
Mr Greenhow said: “Malcolm helped build MOJO with passion, grit, and a soundtrack that never quits.
"His influence is woven into every part of this business.
"With James and Peter by my side, we’re ready to honour that legacy and keep delivering the MOJO experience – the music, the cocktails, the chaos, and the community – for many years to come.”
