Leeds is a city proudly built around a valley, meaning we are absolutely spoiled for choice when it comes to dramatic, panoramic vistas.
Whether you want to stare at the modern, evolving downtown skyline or lose yourself in the rolling green hills of the West Yorkshire countryside, there are endless spots to take in a great view.
We asked Yorkshire Evening Post readers on Facebook to name the single best view in Leeds. Their nominations ranged from hidden woodland gems and historic ruins to dramatic commuter hills.
While we were surprised, many of the responses were clean (not a builder crack joke in sight - one slightly iffy Armley reference for full disclosure, though), we do have to acknowledge those readers whose answer was "in the rear-view mirror as you leave."
Have at it amongst yourselves if you disagree (we certainly do).
But for the rest of our readers, their choices ranged from the urban sprawl to the green spaces that populate our city.
Here’s your 13 best views in Leeds - do you agree with your fellow neighbours that they are exceptional?
