These are the 10 best schools in Leeds for attendance and behaviour in 2026.
Under Ofsted’s new scoring system, one-word grades have been replaced with a colour-coded “traffic light” report card, split into seven categories: attendance and behaviour, early years, personal development, achievement, curriculum and teaching, inclusion, and leadership and governance.
They are rated either Exceptional, Strong standard, Expected standard, Needs attention and Urgent improvement.
Using these rankings, the Yorkshire Evening Post has compiled a list of the 10 Leeds schools that have scored an ‘Expected standard’ or better rating for attendance and behaviour during full Ofsted inspections published in 2026 so far.
