These secondary schools were ranked the best in Leeds for their GCSE maths and English results in 2025.
With the new school year well underway, Year 10 and Year 11 students across Leeds will already be working hard on their chosen GCSE subjects.
Most students take between eight and 10 GCSE subjects, including the compulsory core subjects of maths, English and science, and each year, following the end of the GCSE season, the Department of Education produces a league table showing the performance of every secondary school across the country.
Using this data, the Yorkshire Evening Post has compiled a list of the 13 best-rated Leeds secondary schools who saw over 55 per cent of their pupils achieve a grade 5 or above in English and maths at GCSE level in 2025.

1. Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School
