BBEST Community Hub CIC has teamed up with Star Coaches of Batley Ltd which will provide subsidised transport for educational trips benefiting 20 local primary and secondary schools throughout 2026.

Through this collaboration, BBEST Community Hub CIC has committed £10,000 to support travel costs, helping to remove financial barriers that often prevent young people from accessing valuable learning experiences beyond the classroom.

Educational visits play a vital role in enriching the curriculum, broadening horizons and inspiring ambition. However, rising transport costs can make trips increasingly difficult for schools and families to afford.

This partnership directly addresses that challenge by ensuring more pupils can take part in cultural, historical, and aspirational experiences.

Lisa Varley, on behalf of BBEST Community Hub CIC, said: “We know how important educational trips are in shaping confidence, curiosity and aspiration in young people.

"By working together with Star Coaches of Batley Ltd, we are ensuring that more children across our network of schools can access experiences that enrich their learning and create lasting memories.”

Imran Dabhad on behalf of Star Coaches of Batley Ltd added: “As a third-generation family business established in 1982, we are incredibly proud to continue supporting the communities we have served for over four decades.

"This partnership with BBEST Community Hub CIC reflects our long-standing commitment to local schools and young people.

"We are especially proud of the trust BBEST has placed in Star Coaches to deliver this important service, and we look forward to ensuring safe, reliable and high-quality transport for every trip throughout 2026.”
