GP surgeries are described as the “front door” of the NHS. They are often the first point of contact when you’re feeling under the weather and seeking advice, treatment or a referral.
Patients across Leeds have named the GP practices that are meeting their needs in the latest GP Patient Survey, produced by Ipsos on behalf of NHS England.
More than 700,000 patients in England had their say on their GP surgery in the survey, which was carried out between January and March this year.
Patients were asked a range of questions about their last appointment as part of the survey, including whether they felt their needs had been met. Across the country, the majority of patients said their needs had ‘definitely’ been met (57%) or had been met ‘to some extent’ (33%).
Here we reveal the GP surgeries in Leeds which are meeting patients’ needs the best. Surgeries are ranked by the proportion of patients who said their needs had ‘definitely’ been met during their last appointment.
