Patients across West Yorkshire have shared the GP surgeries that are meeting their needs in the latest GP Patient Survey, produced by Ipsos on behalf of NHS England.
More than 700,000 patients in England completed the 2025 survey, which was carried out between January and March 2025 last year, with the results of the 2026 survey expected this July.
The survey gathers information on how patients feel about their local surgery. Patients were asked a range of questions about their last appointment as part of the survey, including whether they felt their needs had been met. Across the country, the majority of patients said their needs had ‘definitely’ been met (57%) or had been met ‘to some extent’ (33%).
The GP Patient survey is currently taking place for 2026. Around 3 million patients aged over 16 registered with a GP in England have been invited to take part and share feedback on how they feel their GP practice is performing.
Here we reveal the surgeries in West Yorkshire which are meeting patients’ needs the best. Surgeries are ranked by the proportion of patients who said their needs had ‘definitely’ been met during their last appointment.
