This latest feat looks set to be his penultimate annual challenge, raising money and awareness for those impacted by Motor Neurone Disease.
Choosing the number "7" in honour of the late, great Rob Burrow and his jersey number, six MND charities will benefit from the fundraising efforts. Those charities include the MND Association, the Irish MND Association, the Darby Rimmer Foundation, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, MND Scotland and the Rob Burrow Centre as part of Leeds Hospitals Charity.
Kevin Sinfield and his team have already raised more than £10m for charity through his series of challenges.
He will run an ultra-marathon each day in different parts of Great Britain and Ireland, with each leg split into seven-kilometre blocks, to be completed inside an hour. The challenge culminates at Rhinos’ AMT Stadium on Sunday, December 7, when it will include the first Leeds Santa Dash, a three kilometre fun run which is open to the public.
Sinfield was in Leeds last month month to attend the opening of the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease at Seacroft Hospital
