Stop failing these families - they deserve answers in Leeds maternity inquiry

No parent should ever have to suffer the heartbreaking loss of their child.

The pain is simply unimaginable.

But it is being compounded by unanswered questions. All they want to know is why did this happen to me?

They want answers to complex questions but ultimately they want to understand why they have been failed.

Their campaign has seen them head to Downing Street and now to the Department of Health and Social Care to press for answers.

They want one simple thing.

A thorough inquiry process they can trust in to find out what happened to their child and ultimately, what lessons can be learned to avoid any other family enduring the same pain.

They shouldn't have to continue fighting - the system is once again letting them down.

All they ask for is truth and justice.

We have one simple plea: Stop making these families wade through more red tape. Treat them with the dignity and compassion they deserve.

These families have been through enough.
