The 13 worst-rated GP practices in West Yorkshire according to patients

Patients at these practices are least satisfied with their overall experience 🩺

Around six in 10 GPs struggle to sufficiently care for patients at least once a week, a major survey by the doctors’ regulator has found.

Pressures in the working environment are to blame, according to the General Medical Council (GMC). Only one in five doctors said co-ordination is currently effective, and growing cases and complex systems are making things worse.

With increasing pressure on the NHS, many health bosses are urging the new Prime Minister Andy Burnham to set out his plan to fix the healthcare system.

And the experience you have with your GP can make a big difference to your health, with patients in West Yorkshire having their say on their GP’s performance in the latest GP Patient Survey, produced by Ipsos on behalf of NHS England.

More than 650,000 patients in England completed the 2026 survey, which was carried out between January and April this year.

It gathers information on how patients feel about their local GP, including how they rate the performance of reception teams and questions on their last appointment.

Across the country, the majority of patients described their overall experience of their GP practice as ‘very good’ (46%) or ‘fairly good’ (31%).

Here we reveal the GP practices in West Yorkshire where patients are least satisfied with her overall experience. Surgeries are ranked by the proportion of patients who said their overall experience was ‘fairly poor’ or ‘very poor’.
