They lined Briggate in Leeds city centre to get their hands on tickets for the city's New Year's Eve celebrations in Millennium Square which as this gallery demonstrates was still a construction site at the time. Elsewhere Leeds United fans had plenty to shout about thanks to a big, big money signing and the opening of a new superstore.
