Leeds United's final home game of the 1993/94 season against Sheffield Wednesday was billed as 'The Kop's Last Stand'. More than 35,000 supporters packed into the ground to reminisce ahead of its demolition and watch the Whites play out a 2-2 draw with the visitors. The following season Elland Road became all-seater with nearly 7,000 seats replacing the terracing in the Kop, as directed by the Taylor Report.
