Our photographer Steve Riding visited homes across Leeds that are known for being decked out in lights and Christmas decorations as the season starts.
Among them is Jeff Norman, who raises money for Sue Ryder every year by splashing out his home on The Drive in Alwoodley with lights.
There’s also Nick Bond, who has been decorating his home on Birkdale Drive in Alwoodley to raise money for the children's hospice Martin House.
