When deciding where you want to dine out next, a business’s food hygiene rating is important to consider.
Issued by the Food Standards Agency, a hygiene rating gives diners clear information regarding the hygiene standards of a food business.
Ratings cover how food is handled, stored, and prepared, alongside the cleanliness of facilities and how food safety is managed.
Scores range from zero to five with five meanings a food business’s hygiene standards are ‘very good’ while zero means ‘urgent improvement is necessary’.
Here are 25 restaurants and takeaways across Leeds that were awarded a glowing five-star rating in April.
