Issued by the Food Standards Agency, food hygiene ratings provide diners with clear information about the hygiene standards of food businesses.
Businesses are scored on a scale from zero to five, with five indicating ‘very good’ hygiene standards and zero meaning ‘urgent improvement’ is required.
The rating assesses how food is handled, stored and prepared, the cleanliness of facilities, and how food safety is managed.
Across Leeds, 31 pubs, bars and nightclubs were inspected and rated during the first five months of the year.
With scores ranging from two to five stars, here is how they performed in descending order.
