Fancy ordering in tonight? Leeds is packed with excellent spots perfect for a lazy night on the sofa.
We turned to Facebook to ask Yorkshire Evening Post readers to rank their three favourite takeaways in the city.
With dozens of recommendations pouring in, these restaurants were 13 of the most frequently mentioned by YEP readers:

1. Pizza Pizza
The most mentioned takeaway, Pizza Pizza has three Leeds locations (plus one in Harrogate and Wakefield) and have had partnership deals with the likes of Danny Malin and Leeds United. It's not hard to see why the pizzeria has become a city favourite. | Submitted
2. Souvlaki Corner
Armley favourite Souvlaki Corner, on Dixon Street, is another clear favourite amongst YEP readers. Promising 'authentic Greek street food' the restaurant also boasts nearly perfect five-star ratings on Uber Eats (4.8) and Google (4.9). | Iconic Photo: Simon Hulme

4. Puglian Pizza Cafe
Focusing on the rustic, authentic flavours of the Puglia region, this eatery offers a high-quality "Artisan" experience. Another firm Armley favourite, Puglian received several mentions from YEP readers. | Google Street View

5. Nazams
YEP reader Louise Elsie said Nazams in Woodhouse Street, Woodhouse, is the best takeaway in Leeds. | Nazams/Google

6. Silver's Deli
Silver's Deli won Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year in 2025, which says a lot about Leeds' love for its sarnies. Located on Stanningley Road in Bramley, it's not only YEP readers who love the deli. It was recently visited by another Leeds legend: Marco Pierre White. | National World Photo: Tony Johnson
