Danny Malin: I took YouTube star Kalani Ghost Hunter on a Yorkshire food tour
Danny had a visit from a YouTube star - and showed him the best of Yorkshire
My mate Kalani Smith came to visit Yorkshire recently, and as ever I promised to show him my favourite places.
Known as Kalani Ghost Hunter, he explores the paranormal and reviews British food with his wife Savannah.
He made the steak and ale pie at Guy Fawkes Inn in York go viral - at the moment, everything he tries turns to gold.
Our first stop was the Three Flames steakhouse in Wakefield for a gold burger, steaks, and their famous onion flower.
Next, we went to one of my favourite Indian takeaways - Abdul’s in Wakefield.

Last time he came to visit, I took him for Sunday dinner at Cannon Hall Farm, George A Greens chippy, The Spring Head in Halifax to try rag pudding, and my Packhorse Kitchen food court in Huddersfield.
We also took him for a meal at the Forde restaurant in Ilkley, which is run by former Leeds MasterChef contestant Matt Healey.
I know he had quite a lot on this time, visiting the Corner Kitchen in Rotherham for an epic breakfast sandwich and Three Flames with me on the same day.
So we spent the rest of the day recording our Ay Up Listen 'ere podcast in two of my favourite bars - Good Fortunes and RBT Video in Wakefield.
Good Fortunes is a new bar where you can have cocktails and even your fortune read, and RBT video looks like a video store, but it’s a speakeasy cocktail bar.
It was great to have him back in Yorkshire and show him why we do food best.
