Award-winning Sardinian restaurant DOMO announces Leeds opening date

Award-winning Sardinian restaurant DOMO has officially announced its opening date as it prepares to launch its new Leeds venue in the city’s South Bank next month.
Founded in Sheffield by husband-and-wife team Sarah Elliott-Busceddu and Raffaele Busceddu, the restaurant will open at Tower Works, beside the Leeds-Liverpool Canal.
“We’re incredibly excited to finally open the doors and welcome people into DOMO Leeds,” said Sarah.
“From day one, our vision has been to create a space where everyone feels welcome and somewhere that brings people together in the true spirit of Sardinian hospitality.
“Whether it’s an evening out with friends, a relaxed catch-up over drinks after work, or a big family celebration, we’ve designed DOMO to feel warm, inclusive and full of life.
“We can’t wait for people in Leeds to experience not just the food and drinks, but the atmosphere and sense of community that sits at the heart of everything we do.”
Since launching in 2019, DOMO has built a loyal following for its authentic Sardinian menu, featuring traditional family recipes including fregola with seafood, culurgiones and seadas.
Diners will also be able to enjoy sharing experiences inspired by Sardinian traditions, including a classic suckling pig feast prepared in the traditional style.
Alongside the main restaurant offering, DOMO will serve a dedicated bar menu focused on relaxed dining, with carefully curated small plates designed to complement the drinks selection.
The wine list has been handpicked to reflect the founders’ heritage, with a strong focus on Sardinian wines from winemakers local to the Busceddu family’s hometown of Castelsardo, alongside Sardinian beers and signature cocktails with a Sardinian twist.
The restaurant’s interiors have been designed in collaboration with specialists 93ft, combining authentic Sardinian furniture with handcrafted fixtures and furnishings made in the UK.
DOMO Leeds will open at Tower Works on Friday, June 5.
