Leeds brewery Piglove joins forces with UK rock band Don Broco for 'two very different' beers

‘We can’t wait for our fans to try these two very different but equally delicious beers’

Leeds brewery Piglove has partnered with UK rock band Don Broco on a limited two-beer collaboration launching later this month.

The two beers are inspired by the Bedford band’s latest record, Nightmare Tripping, and will be launched at an exclusive event in Leeds this Friday before a national release next week.

Representing the duality of the record, WAHA - Euphoria is a 4.6 per cent Hazy Pale, while YOPO - Nightmare is a Black IPA at 7.6 per cent.

“We’re super excited to be collaborating with Piglove Brewing to release not one, but two Broco beers,” the band said.

“Having dipped our toe into the beverage industry with our tea & coffee range Don Brewco, followed up by our hot chocolate Don Cocoa, we leapt at the chance to try something a little stronger, partnering up with the beer wizards at Piglove.

“Sharing our love of experimentation, big sounds & big flavours, we met the team in Leeds at our Nightmare Tripping release show and were bowled over by their passion for all things brewing. We can’t wait for our fans to try these two very different but equally delicious beers!”

The band will be pouring pints at an exclusive, sold-out launch event at Piglove by the River in Leeds this Saturday (August 15). The two beers will be available exclusively at Piglove in Leeds, The Albion in Sheffield and Big Red in London until a national release on August 21.

Piglove founder Marcos Ramirez added: “Don Broco and Piglove share the same instinct - loud music, loud beer, no apologies. We've been fans of Don Broco for years - these two beers are what happens when that admiration meets a mash tun.”
