The Good Food Guide has announced its first-ever Restaurant Month, and it’s launching next week.
Running from January 13 to February 13, more than 350 restaurants across the country have signed up to take part - offering special menus and discounted food. The campaign aims to spotlight some of Britain’s most exciting places to eat and help restaurants boost bookings during one of the industry’s quietest trading periods.
Adam Hyman, owner of The Good Food Guide, said: “January is a notoriously tough time for hospitality. I’ve always thought it is one of the best times to treat yourself to a meal out and a glass or two of something delicious. The aim of Restaurant Month is to encourage the British public to venture out for a meal at the beginning of year and perhaps try a place that they may not have eaten at or treat themselves to a special meal somewhere that may have been out of their budget.”
