A cursory look at the Met Office is still showing temperatures in Leeds are set to hit 20°c on Saturday, and despite clouds on Sunday, the warm weather is set to continue throughout, merely dropping to 19°c on Sunday.
So, ideal weather once again to head out for either a post-work Friday drink with colleagues, or to get out of the house for the weekend and make the most of summer as it's on the horizon.
With a huge amount of activity taking place in the city this weekend - including an all-important FA Cup semi-final involving Leeds United - some of those previous beer garden areas that were shared might be swamped.
That’s why we've once again put out the suggestion box and asked readers of the Yorkshire Evening Post on our Facebook page for their ideal locations for a post-work beverage in the sun.
While some suggestions included favourites like the Duck & Drake and Green Room, others are a little more off the beaten track... of the city centre, that is.
Here are 10 more reader recommendations where you should be heading out to enjoy a beer (or soft drink) in the sun in Leeds this weekend.
1. The Scarborough Hotel
An absolute Leeds icon, Phil Pope and Gordon Wilson both stand by the Scarborough as the definitive place to soak up the city's energy. It’s perfectly positioned for that "one last drink" before the commute - or for just staying put until the sun goes down. ☀️ Bishopgate Street, Leeds, LS1 5DY | James Hardisty

2. The Angel Inn
The ultimate 'if you know, you know' spot. Richard Clamp and Dave Hammill both highlighted the outside area here. Tucked away down a narrow alley, it offers a peaceful (and famously affordable) sun-trap right in the middle of the shopping district. ☀️ 1 Angel Inn Yard, Leeds, LS1 6LN | Google
3. The Cuthbert Brodrick
While Wetherspoons can be a point of debate, Paul Cockcroft and Dean Clarkson agree that "The Cuthbert" next to the Civic Hall is hard to beat for its massive terrace and prime people-watching potential. ☀️ 99 Portland Crescent, Leeds, LS2 3AD | YPN

4. The Palace
A city haunt that has stood the test of time. Heather Royce says she has "always liked The Palace," and its outdoor seating remains a top-tier choice for those who want a bit of history with their sunshine. ☀️ Kirkgate, Leeds, LS2 7DJ | Google Street View

5. The Brew Society
A craft beer haven tucked just behind the station. Recommended by Paul Sykes, it’s a more refined, tucked-away choice for those who want to avoid the massive crowds but still catch the late-afternoon rays. ☀️ 26 Aire Street, Leeds, LS1 4HT | National World

6. The Rodley Barge
A 'hands-down' winner for canal-side drinking. John Brooks recommends heading to Rodley to watch the barges drift by—it’s the perfect place to feel like you’ve actually escaped the 9-to-5. ☀️ 184 Town St, Rodley, Leeds LS13 1HP | Tony Johnson
