Beloved Leeds cafe House of Koko to launch first evening menu at new city centre site
A much-loved Leeds cafe is launching a new dinner menu after expanding into the city centre.
House of Koko has been a fixture of Leeds’ café culture since 2015 when it opened in Chapel Allerton, and has become known for its Middle Eastern–inspired menus, exceptional coffee and design-led spaces.
The independent cafe business opened its third site in Central Road last autumn, taking over the the site that once housed Mrs Artha's.
The new cafe seats 28 people inside, as well as outdoor seating, and has been a hit since it opened.

Now, the city centre site is launching a new evening menu on Saturdays.
The dinner menu will have Middle Eastern-inspired dishes at its core.
Diners can expect dishes such as cured mackerel with fennel, chicory, orange and sumac dressing, lamb kibbeh croquettes with bulgur and basil aioli, and shish tawouk - marinated chicken, spring onion and preserved lemon labneh.
Accompanying wines include a hand-picked selection from Lebanon.
House of Koko founder Rosita Rogers said: “House of Koko has always been about more than great coffee; it’s about connection, culture, and creating spaces with heart.
“With the city centre opening, we wanted to bring that same sense of community to a bigger stage and create a place that feels elevated but still warm, soulful and unmistakably Koko.”
Evening dining at House of Koko will launch on Saturday April 18, and will run every Saturday until 11pm.
