The Yorkshire Evening Post’s annual food and drink awards are back for the 17th year as we shine the spotlight on the city’s finest restaurants, bars, pubs, cafes, hotels, takeaways and chefs.

The culinary celebration rewards the hard-working people making Leeds’ hospitality sector thrive.

And we’re asking our readers to vote for two awards: Best Customer Service and Best Takeaway from our shortlisted finalists.

Those in the running for Best Customer Service include Bundobust, The Cheesy Living Co, TADA Japanese, Tharavadu, Hooleos Mexican Cafe Bar and Oulton Hall.

The shortlist for voting for the Best Takeaway are Homeboy Pizza Co, Hooyah Burgers, Chimaek Oppa and G-Wu.

Voting for the categories closes tomorrow (Sunday, March 1) at 10pm and votes can be cast online here.

Speaking at the launch YEP Editor-in-Chief Laura Collins said: “It is fantastic to see the triumphant return of the Oliver Awards which continues to celebrate the city’s culinary heroes for almost two decades.
