Each month, inspectors from the Food Safety Agency visits dozens of restaurants, takeaways and cafes around Leeds. Restaurants are given a rating from 0 to 5 based on standards observed at the time of inspection.
The inspector rates businesses based on food handling, the condition of the premises and management of food safety, with 5 being very good and 0 requiring immediate action.
In September, 17 restaurants, pubs, takeaways, and bars have received a score of 3 or higher.
We have excluded major franchises such as Starbucks, as well as catering firms, nursing homes and similar businesses.
