Leeds rooftop bar Uyare unveils new Kerala-inspired summer menu

Celebrated South Indian restaurant Uyare has announced the launch of a brand-new menu for its rooftop bar.

The new menu, marking the start of spring and the restaurant’s upcoming first birthday, includes a range of small plates, a curated selection of inventive signature cocktails, and a new bottomless brunch menu.

Set high above Victoria Leeds, Uyare launched in June last year and has already attracted the attention of celebrities, from reality and soap stars to Hollywood icons.

Guests can look forward to a new small plates menu featuring dishes such as Masala-fried cauliflower, fried squid, marinated king prawns, tender curries and succulent salads.

The cocktail menu showcases 12 signature “flavour-forward” creations inspired by Kerala’s rich culinary heritage, alongside four new Kerala-centric drinks designed to “take guests on a journey through the region”.

Adding to its weekend offering, the bar is also introducing a new bottomless brunch menu available every Saturday and Sunday, which includes tapas dishes with a side and bottomless drinks starting from £40. Monthly jazz nights are also scheduled.

Commenting on the launch, founder Siby Jose said: “Uyare is all about energy, and that’s exactly what we’re bringing to our rooftop bar this summer. While Leeds has a vibrant cocktail scene, many menus are built around classic recipes or rely heavily on syrups. Our new menu takes a different approach, focusing on real ingredients and culinary techniques to create bold, layered flavours.
