Five new food vendors have joined Leeds’ Trinity Kitchen this week, setting up shop in the food court for the next eight weeks.
Located inside Leeds Trinity Shopping Centre, the food court offers a range of permanent eateries alongside a rotating line-up of mouth-watering street food vendors.

“This summer, Trinity Kitchen is the place to be, with an array of street food vendors to please even the fussiest of eaters,” said Josie Towning, Food and Beverage Manager at the shopping centre.
“Whether you’re popping down for lunch or bringing your mates to watch the World Cup, there’s something for everyone at Trinity Kitchen.”
Among the new arrivals is Rico, serving fusion dishes including golden empanadas stuffed with tender meats and oozing melted cheese.
They are joined by Ayubowan, which is bringing authentic Sri Lankan dishes such as Parrippu Vadai – spicy deep-fried lentil and onion fritters – and Nasi Goreng topped with chicken, prawns or beef and garnished with fresh garlic and chillies.
Chicken Bandits is bringing its Nashville-style fried chicken to Leeds, with chicken burgers, loaded fries and saucy wings on the menu. Meanwhile, Fat Cat Bao is serving fluffy bao buns filled with chicken or tofu and topped with pickled onions and tangy sauces.
Trinity Kitchen favourite Masri has also returned, serving its Egyptian koshary dish, featuring pasta, fried rice vermicelli and brown lentils topped with chickpeas and a garlicky tomato sauce. Also on the menu are falafel burgers and ribeye kebabs drizzled with tahini sauce and Egyptian spices.
The five new street food vendors will be available at Trinity Kitchen until July 26, joining permanent eateries Archie's, Pho, Pizzaluxe, Rola Wala, Thatziki and the newest arrival, Jerk Junction.
With the World Cup just days away, Trinity Kitchen is also set to be transformed into a free fan zone, featuring large screens, a new bar from Northern Monk, DJs, brass bands and space for up to 1,000 supporters.
