Leeds United’s Anton Stach is launching his own burger – and there’s a brilliant reason why
Leeds United star is backing local business with a tasty new concept to raise cash for charity
Leeds United’s Anton Stach has gone from stacking up tackles to help stack up burgers with a special creation designed to raise money for charity.
The midfielder has joined forces with Meat:Stack, opposite Leeds City Station, to create the Moustachi cheese burger to help raise money for the Elhadji Diouf Foundation which will see £2 from each sale donated to charity.
The collaboration comes as the independent business has felt the pressure sitting opposite the station where ongoing redevelopment works have been carried out.
The Yorkshire Evening Post revealed last month that work to the New Station Street entrance at Leeds railway station, has been delayed by a further month to a September 2026 opening.
The £46.1 million improvement scheme was originally due to be completed by September 2025, but has faced delays as a result of a series of complex works, including critical maintenance to the station’s, Mill Goit, underground structure.
The new burger looks set to launch on Tuesday, August 18, and will be available through the opening weeks of the season before earning a permanent place on the menu.

And Stach even rolled up his sleeves in the kitchen earlier today to build the burger himself before he returns to the store on August 18 to meet fans and serve them up in person.
He said: “Leeds has felt like home from very early on, and a lot of that is the people and the place around the ground, the businesses fans go to before and after a game.
“Meat:Stack is one of them, and they’ve had a hard time with the building work on their doorstep.
“The Moustachi burger is a lovely nod to my YouTube channel too.
“This is a team on the rise in a city on the comeback, and support has to go both ways,
“I wanted to back a business Leeds fans care about and raising money for a foundation my family has given so much to at the same time means everything.”
Allan Hyslop, founder of Meat:Stack, said: “We’ve had a proper baptism of fire, opening up opposite a building site but Leeds has kept turning up for us, and this is our way of turning up for Leeds.
“Anton’s a giant on the pitch and, it turns out, no slouch with a spatula.
“His burger is big, it’s bold and every single one puts £2 into a cause his family have poured their hearts into for nearly 30 years.”
