The North Leeds Food Festival confirms 2027 dates for Roundhay Park return
Following a milestone tenth anniversary earlier this year, organisers have confirmed May 2027 dates for Roundhay Park - promising four live stages, an expanded street food village, and brand-new interactive attractions
Organisers of The North Leeds Food Festival have officially confirmed the dates for their eleventh annual celebration, returning to Roundhay Park on May 8 and 9.
Following a milestone tenth anniversary earlier this year, plans are already underway to build on a decade of celebrations; however, the 2027 edition promises an expanded entertainment schedule, fresh attractions, and new partnerships with hundreds of independent businesses from across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region.
Driven by a core ethos celebrating international flavours, local producers, and community spirit, the festival brings together street food traders, artisan markets, live music, performing arts, and charity fundraising under one roof.

Reflecting on the milestone growth, Festival Director Michael Johnston said: "We’ve come a long way since our first event at Roundhay Park back in 2016. Celebrating our tenth anniversary this spring was incredibly special, and we owe it to the wonderful support we’ve received from the local community year after year. It’s not something we’ll ever take for granted.
"In testament to that, we want to keep building on what we’ve achieved together over the last ten years and continue to find new ways to elevate the experience for everyone who joins us."
Street Food, Artisan Markets & Draught Ales
Visitors to the 2027 festival can expect an expanded Street Food Village showcasing an eclectic line-up of global cuisines and international delicacies.
Alongside the food stalls, hundreds of local makers, artisans, and entrepreneurs will fill the event's bustling Artisan Markets.
The 2027 festival will feature its most extensive entertainment line-up to date, spread across four dedicated performance areas.
The Main Stage will showcase a curated line-up of local bands and up-and-coming musical performers, while the Cookery Theatre returns in partnership with host , featuring live culinary demonstrations from expert head chefs and regional talent.
Over on the Entertainers Stage, host Matthew J Magic will welcome leading magicians, circus acts, and family performers throughout the weekend.
Meanwhile, following its successful debut, the Sizzling Showdown Arena returns with an expanded roster of interactive competitions - including festival favourites like Wally Woof's Family Dog Show, The Chilli Challenge, and the brand-new Pies Down, Eyes Down Bingo, where attendees can win prizes supplied by independent traders.
Beyond the stages, roaming comedy acts and street performers will entertain crowds across the park grounds, joining returning family staples like the mobile farm and traditional fun fair, while mental health charity Leeds Mind will once again return as the event's primary charity partner.
Together with its sister events across the region, the festival has raised over £210,000 for mental health initiatives across the UK - a milestone organisers aim to build on heading into May 2027.
