Award-winning Leeds sandwich shop Silver’s Deli to open new bakehouse in Farsley
An award-winning Leeds sandwich shop is expanding with a brand new neighbourhood bakehouse in Farsley.
Silver’s Deli, the Bramley-based eatery which shot to national fame after being crowned Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year in 2025, has announced plans to launch a sister site dedicated to baked goods.
The new venture, named Silver’s Bakehouse, will open on Town Street in Farsley - just seven minutes from the original deli - and is expected to welcome customers later this spring.

Owner Chris Riley teased the opening on social media, describing the project as a long-awaited move driven by his love of baking.
In a video shared online, he hinted that the new space will allow the team to expand beyond the deli’s current offering.
While full details are still under wraps, the bakehouse is expected to focus on sweet and savoury bakes that have already proved popular with customers.
These include cookies, brownies and pastries, alongside items such as sausage rolls that have been in development for over a year.
Silver’s Deli first opened in 2023 and quickly built a loyal following thanks to its stacked sandwiches and strong community feel, becoming a cult favourite in Leeds. Just last month, culinary giant Marco Pierre White swung by the Bramley shop.
Its rapid rise was cemented last year when it beat more than 130 restaurants across the UK to take home the Uber Eats top prize, earning £100,000 to invest back into the business.
The new bakehouse is set to open in May, with the team promising a “neighbourhood bake shop” that will complement the original deli.
